New moves w/Alfonse and new music w/Dub Trio

After you're done learning the centipede or the windmill, why don't you take a listen to one of most exciting bands that MONO has come across this past year. Dub Trio has been burning up the New York scene for a few years now, and you might have noticed them with Mike Patton as Peeping Tom. It's of no mistake that Mike chose them to back him up since the Trio mixes all genres of music so well. Dub, metal, hip-hop, funk, shoegaze...just to name a few. It's a blistering pace they set and we at MONO would love to keep up with them.



We caught up with the guys when they opened for Helmet, long time supporters of MONO. There was a Mike Patton siting as well, but the man slips in and out of places like a trained ninja. I knew something was up with the fella when I first entered backstage. It hit me about 10 minutes later who that was and...yeah...ninja gaiden. DubT is posed for something bigger than big.
