The Field - Yesterday and Today

I can't get enough of this. Axel Willner goes by the moniker "The Field" and he takes us along on a cross journey of glorious ambient tones on his newest release. With only 6 songs, this album goes for about an hour and each song builds into themselves with some crafty working. It's not a surprise that his previous work "From Here We Go Sublime" was accepted by so many.

This is definitely an album that non-electronic fans can learn to appreciate. John Stanier is featured on the remake of "Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime". Yesterday and Today is set to release at the end of this month. Go and grab a copy, it will make life a lot more interesting.
