SXSW Day 3: Journaling w/Jake Cohen
Thursday, March 18:
11:00 AM. Gigs everyday from here on out. Headin out for soundcheck at the Lucky Lounge after a proper night of sleep at the Days Inn.
2:30 PM. Just had a hit at Berklee’s unofficial SXSW launch party @ Lucky Lounge. Really chill spot, and an open bar courtesy of Berklee. Roger Brown, President of Berklee came out to the bar and invited Nini & Ben to play his Annual SXSW BBQ on Saturday. Mostly board of trustee members and things like that, should be ill.
5:00 PM. Exploring Austin’s 6th st. People are everywhere, yelling, screaming, all enjoying music. Everywhere you walk there’s a window of a venue with a band, pouring their heart and soul out, hoping to be noticed. The atmosphere is just incredible.
Typical for the streets of SXSW. Crazy band!
